Now that the government has given the manufacturing and construction sectors the signal we’d all be waiting for that we can get back to work, as long as we can ensure the safety of both staff and customers, the window and door industry has finally started to spring back into life.
Most companies are obviously planning phased or partial re-openings for now, but I’ve been really encouraged by the number of customers who’ve been in touch with Mila to let us know their plans.
As a result, Mila is very much open for business. We’ve been able to put in place lots of support to help our customers over the coming weeks and months and we’re matching our resources to the likely level of demand.
Customers who want to place orders on the phone or get any help and advice from Mila can call the internal sales team on: 01327 312400 from 8.30 to 5, or you can simply email orders at any time to: email@example.com
All of the questions we’re being asked about service and availability are answered on the new Covid-19 FAQ section on the website here, and I’ll be continuing to post updates as anything changes in our response.
If you are reopening and want any advice on how to implement social distancing in your own factories, it’s also worth having a look here at the advice from our Health and Safety Manager Joe Montague on the ERIC protocols (Eliminate Reduce Isolate Control) which are the basis of our own warehouse systems.
Our aim is obviously to work in partnership with our customers to make sure we all make it through this crisis with as little long-term pain as possible. There’s a long way to go, but I think we’re finally moving in the right direction.
