Following the news of the administration of one of our delivery partners, Tuffnells on Friday 9 June, Mila has already acted swiftly to put in place alternative delivery solutions via our other freight partners at CCL and DPD.
We have worked hard behind the scenes over the past 48 hours to ensure that there is minimal disruption to our service, and customers can expect it to business as usual from Monday 12 June.
The only change that customers need to be aware of is that our last order cut off time for next day delivery has now been brought forward to 3.30pm. (This is still later than many of our competitors and just takes into account DPD’s earlier collection time.)
We’ll be introducing new IT protocols internally over the coming weeks so that our system interfaces directly with DPD, but in the meantime, we’ve put additional resources into our order processing and warehouse teams so that we can do this manually without any impact on our overall efficiency.
