I’ve just been re-reading my blog post from Christmas 2017 and it’s interesting to see how much – and how little – things have actually changed over the past 12 months.
We’re all still facing the interminable challenge of Brexit of course and we’re still seeing rises in commodity prices and currency fluctuations – but perhaps we’ve just had to learn to live with those a little more now.
With Brexit uncertainty continuing to cast a very long shadow across the market, the issue of supply agreements is coming up with increasing regularity in our conversations with customers.
For fabricators, of course they offer guaranteed levels of service, while for suppliers like Mila, they offer greater transparency in terms of demand forecasting.
