2023 is obviously going to be another challenging year given the cost-of-living crisis, but that doesn’t mean there won’t still be opportunities. As always, I think we can expect the more premium end of the market to hold up relatively well and there will probably never be a better time to push the energy efficiency benefits of replacement windows and doors.

From a hardware perspective, that means we’re planning for more customers to make the switch to stainless steel as standard as they upgrade their door offerings and we’ve increased stock of our popular Heritage window handles, butt hinges and peg stays which are ideal for the growing flush sash and timber replacement market.

There will be some big news in the New Year from Mila when we unveil our plans for the Mila Test Centre. We’re investing in new facilities, a new testing programme and a new team under the leadership of the highly experienced Dave Vinyard, all designed to ensure that we deliver the most customer focused service in the industry.
