Following the announcement that there will be a second lockdown starting in England on Thursday 5th November, we can confirm that Mila will remain fully open, in line with the government guidance that construction and manufacturing can continue to operate.
The latest information issued on Saturday 31st October states that work can continue in other people’s homes as well, so we are expecting the vast majority of our customers to continue manufacturing and installing windows and doors throughout this proposed four-week period.
Once again, we can assure you that Mila’s office and warehouse has been certified fully Covid-19 secure, and that we are doing everything we can to keep our workforce, our colleagues and our customers safe.
All of our staff who can work from home will continue to do so, and there will be no sales or technical support visits to customers, unless they are business critical, while these new lockdown rules are in place.
