You’ll see from the homepage that it’s all about our new Heritage door handle this week. We’ve seen the growing popularity of the Heritage espag handle that we launched at the end of 2019, and we’ve responded to all those customers who wanted a door handle to match.
In typical Mila style though, we’ve gone a bit further than just that, and designed a new range of Heritage handles that can be used on ALL doors.
There are very traditional looking Heritage black and Heritage pewter versions in the range with the ‘hammered’ textured effect which makes them perfect for cottages, but also seven smooth finishes (pewter patina antique bronze, polished chrome and gold, satin chrome and painted black and white) which add a classic look to more modern homes.
It’s all about maximising the sales opportunities for our customers by allowing them to offer something which is timeless but still a bit different.
The handles were designed in-house by the product development team here in Daventry and feature some really nice detailing, including a diamond shaped lever tip and faux ‘clocked’ screw detail on the external backplate.
As you’d expect, we’ve made them easy to stock and easy to fit with a 240mm backplate and universal lever for left and right-handed doors and fixings to suit both 44 and 48mm composite doors as standard and fixing pack for PVC doors available as an option. And of course, they’re independently tested and accredited for performance and quality and come with 10 year guarantees on mechanical operation and on all the painted finishes and a 5 year guarantee on the black and white plated finishes.
