Solarframe Partners with Mila on ADQ and Much More

SolarFrame, based in Rotherham, is one of the first fabricators to take advantage of Mila’s new initiative to create a library of test data for customers who want to be able to meet the demands of Approved Document Q in the new build market.

Mila has invested in an ongoing programme to carry out the PAS24 security testing required for ADQ on windows and doors in a range of different profile systems and with a number of different hardware combinations. This growing bank of test data is now available to be cascaded down to Mila customers like SolarFrame, giving them a simple and cost effective route to ADQ compliance. Continue reading…

With the move to the NEC the FIT Show 2017 was different to the last one at Telford.  Was it better or worse?  There seemed to be an increase in the investment on stands but did that translate into more visitors?  Was it worthwhile for both visitors and exhibitors?  Will you gain more business and, importantly, would you exhibit at a future FIT Show?

We were at FIT as visitors rather than exhibitors this time, because the timing of the show didn’t fit with our product development programme, so I had a very different perspective. With the move to the NEC, it certainly felt like a bigger show and there were undoubtedly some big, impressive stands, but I’m not sure that entirely translated into there being much more to see.
