Looking back, 2016 has very definitely been a year of highs and lows – the highs of the FIT show, the launch of our GRIP handle and our most recent success at the G-Awards, and the lows of the price surcharges triggered by the Brexit vote.
On a personal level, I celebrated my 35th anniversary at Mila which was pretty special and I completed yet another GM Fundraising cycle challenge which was a definite high.
Overall, it has been another very good year for Mila. We’ve focused on innovation across the business – from delivering celebrity levels of customer service to introducing a new COTIF measure for our supply chain. We’ve proved that we’re as determined as ever to set the benchmark for quality in this sector. So much of our success is obviously due to the commitment and hard work of the whole team here and to the strength and loyalty of our customers, so I’d like to thank everyone for their fantastic efforts in 2016 and say that I’m feeling positive and confident about the year ahead.
I hope everyone who reads my blog has a relaxing Christmas break and a happy, healthy and successful New Year.
