Mila will be closed for the Christmas and New Year holidays from 5pm on 23rd December to 8.30am on 4th January.
As we all know, this is the one time of year when most of us get to really rest and recharge our batteries, as most of the industry effectively shuts down, takes a breath, and gets ready to do it all again next year.
Obviously, we can only hope that 2022 will bring fewer challenges than 2021, but to be honest, that seems unlikely, given the spectre of Omicron looming and inflation hitting a new high.
However, if I’ve learned anything this year, it is that this industry and, certainly this business, is remarkably resilient. Under the most intense pressure, the Mila team managed to restore our On Time in Full performance figures to around 95% over the course of 2021. And, with more stock coming in all the time, by March we’ll have 45% more on the shelves ready to send out than even at our previous peak which was all the way back in June 2019 (I know that will be music to the ears of many customers.)
However you’re celebrating over the holidays, I wish you and your loved ones a happy and relaxing Christmas and a healthy and prosperous New Year.
