Over the past couple of years, we’ve lit up our logo online in the blue and yellow of Ukraine in solidarity with our friends and colleagues at our supply partner Axor and, during the first lockdown, in the blue of the NHS to honour all those who were working on the frontline in the fight against Covid.
This time around though, there’s a much happier reason why we’ve switched the logo from the iconic Mila red to purple for a couple of weeks, as we mark the celebrations for the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee.
While there’s so much uncertainty in the global economy and a fairly grim picture when it comes to national and international news, I think we could probably all do with something to celebrate – whether you’re a royalist or not. Who knows, it could even bring a bit of the feelgood factor back to Britain (if only for a few days!)
We’re embracing the additional bank holiday here and hoping that everyone in the Mila team gets to enjoy an extra-long weekend in the sunshine.
That obviously means that our last day for deliveries in the Jubilee week will be Wednesday 1 June, so customers will need to place orders for next day delivery by 5pm on Tuesday 31 May.
