A Sign of Normality

If, like me, you’re starting to wonder when life will ever start to feel properly ‘normal’ again, I can offer a little bit of good news from Mila.

As of this week, we’ve restored our next day delivery promise for all orders placed with us before 5pm. It’s the closest we’ve come to ‘normal’ service since April last year, and I hope it’s a sign that we’re finally edging towards the end of the crisis.

If you bear in mind that our warehouse and operations team are still working within the strictest COVID-19 protocols, it’s a remarkable tribute to their attitude and hard work that they’re managing to match our pre-pandemic service levels, particularly with order volumes approaching record levels.

We’ve still got a little way to go to get our OTIF back up to normal, but it has been consistently above 90% for several months now and we have vast amounts of new stock now at sea and on its way to us.

The website is updated daily with all the latest performance figures and, as we have done since the start of all this, we’ll continue communicating regularly with customers so that they know exactly what to expect in terms of stock levels and availability.
