Mila Hardware is launching a new suited range of window and door hardware which it says will give fabricators and installers a significant new sales opportunity in the retail market.

Siegenia Aubi has confirmed that Mila Hardware remains a key distributor in the UK, as the two companies mark 30 years in partnership together.

Mila Hardware has announced a new range of plated finishes for its Ideal Flag Hinge. The hinge, which was launched last year in white, brown and light oak powder finishes, has proved so popular that Mila has extended the range to meet the demand from customers.

At the end of 2009, Mila Hardware carried out an extensive piece of customer research to evaluate the levels of customer satisfaction with the service it provides and to identify any specific areas for improvement.

When Mila Hardware launched its Evolution anti-manipulation cylinder and high security door handle in May last year, it confidently predicted that it had developed a solution which would open up new sales opportunities for customers in the retail sector.

In 2009, Mila Hardware launched seven major new products – more it believes than any of their competitors and in 2010 – its 30th anniversary year – it is planning to launch a further 10.

In 2010, Mila Hardware celebrates its 30th anniversary.   It is a time of course for celebration – and I hope there will be much of that during the year – but also for a degree of reflection as to what we have achieved since 1980 and what we still want to achieve in the future.

During 2009, Mila Hardware undertook an extensive e-marketing campaign sending out regular e-shots to existing and potential customers and specifiers.

For much of the last decade, the window and door industry in the UK felt like a real success story.  Volumes were up and profits were being made.  We responded well to the changing demands in the market for windows and doors which were ever more secure and, of course, energy efficient.

Mila Hardware has received an independent endorsement of the quality and durability of its Evolution high security door handle with a maximum Grade 4 rating in a recent BS EN1906 test carried out at Exova Warrington.
