Mila Hardware has received an independent endorsement of the quality and durability of its Evolution high security door handle with a maximum Grade 4 rating in a recent BS EN1906 test carried out at Exova Warrington.

Arran Isle Ltd has completed its acquisition of all of the subsidiaries of Heywood Williams plc including Mila Hardware, under the terms of the agreement which was announced on 20 October.

Mila Hardware has just launched its new Prolinea Espag handle in both cranked and inline versions.

Designed by Mila’s in-house product design team, the handle features a contemporary new rose and screw cover cap which, along with the cranked handle itself, have been Design Registered.  

When Eastbourne based trade fabricator Whiteline introduced a new Kommerling door profile to its range recently, it quickly realised that its existing door keep could no longer be fitted effectively by customers. The company turned to Mila Hardware, one of its key hardware suppliers, to help it come up with a fast and cost effective solution. 

Mila has teamed up with leading software specialist Business Micros to allow customers who switch to the new flag hinge to have the necessary adjustments made to their Evolution manufacturing software for free. The first 25 customers who place qualifying orders for the hinge will be able to take advantage of free adjustment which would normally cost around £500.
