The EZ friction stay offers an egress function, for side hung casement windows, without the need for any special tools or reset kits.
- Allows casement windows to open to a full 90° for emergency exit
- Allows casement windows (dependent upon size) to satisfy the requirements of Document B of the Building Regulations, ie:
“ For emergency egress any window should have an unobstructed openable area that is at least 0.33m square and at least 450mm high and 450mm wide ”
- Option of easy clean facility
- Easy clean position meets the requirements of BS 8213 (minimum 95mm gap between casement and frame)
