The lycra is out of the cupboard once again and the training is getting pretty serious with just two weeks to go until this year’s GM Fundraising Rome to Home cycle challenge.

We set off from the Coliseum in Rome on 11th June and plan to arrive 1500 miles later at the Hope House Children’s Hospice in Oswestry on 19th June.

Having already ridden in the Tower to Tower event in 2006 and the 2008 Ride for Hope across America, I should know what to expect but I suspect that the heat and climbs in the Alps will bring a new kind of challenge this year.

The whole point of the event of course is to raise money for this really worthwhile charity and I’ve been very grateful in the past for both colleagues’ and customers’ support.

Please visit my website at www.richardgyde.com and pledge any amount that you can.  As an added incentive, those who do donate will have their company logos displayed on the website as a way of saying thank you and they will also be included on the regular e-bulletin which we will be emailing to supporters.

Many thanks in advance,

Richard
