I’ve already posted a couple of blogs in the aftermath of Siegenia’s announcement that it's ended its relationship with one of our biggest competitors.
I wanted to reassure fabricators that Mila remains Siegenia’s preferred distributor in the UK and that we're able to supply the full range of products both to our existing customer base and to all those fabricators and installers looking for a new supplier.
Well, I can now put some real substance behind those assurances by announcing that we've placed orders with Siegenia for additional stock worth in excess of £200,000 which will be delivered to our Daventry HQ in the next few weeks.
Our in-house supply chain experts are monitoring our stock levels and service levels daily to ensure that our existing Siegenia customers will have complete continuity of supply. Our investment in additional stock means that new customers will be able to place orders with Mila knowing that we can offer the products they need with guaranteed next day delivery.
I said at the time of Siegenia’s announcement that Mila recognised how important it is for fabricators and installers to know that they have a robust and reliable supply chain in place and that we wouldn’t let them down.
I also stated that we had the funding necessary to be able to hold sufficient stock to meet demand and now we’ve literally put our money where our mouth is.
