Congratulations once again to Andrew and Matthew Glover for organising another successful Glasstalk event on Tuesday.

To attract 150 of the industry’s biggest names up to Warrington for a whole day was no mean achievement.

Any niggles which people had pointed out after the first event back in March had been ironed out and I was genuinely impressed by the people who attended, the speakers and the networking format - particularly the On the Couch sessions.

After the lukewarm response to Glassex and the frankly disappointing attendance figures at the G09 event at Wembley, it was good to feel the industry united behind at least one positive new initiative.

I’ll look forward to the next event in 2010.
