We got the email we'd been hoping for last week announcing that Mila has been shortlisted in no less than FOUR of the award categories at the G09 Awards to be held at Wembley Stadium on 1 October.

Mila are finalists in the Specialist of the Year category and the Customer Care category, our website has been shortlisted for the Promotional Campaign of the Year (obviously influenced by this blog!) and our sister company Mila Maintenance is shortlisted in the new Social Housing Project category.

This is a fantastic endorsement of all the hard work carried out by the team here – not just during the past year when market conditions have been so tough but over the past five years when we've been making the investments in supply chain management necessary to achieve our vision of Mila as the leading hardware supplier in the UK.

We're still waiting to hear who we're up against in each category and to see how we'll be judged between now and the big night, but there's a real buzz around the business as a result of our success so far and I believe we've a really good chance.

Mila is exhibiting at the G09 exhibition on a twin stand with Mila Maintenance and we've of course booked at a table at the Awards Dinner.  I hope to be able to meet up with as many friends and colleagues from around the industry as possible at the event - and hopefully to toast Mila’s success.
