On 18th October, Becki from our Internal Sales team will be running the Cardiff Half Marathon in aid of Cancer Research.  I'll personally be providing sponsorship for her run and individually lots of members of staff are digging deep to support her.

Becki’s efforts are typical of many members of the team here who give up their time for good causes and whose interests and commitments outside of the workplace help to make them interesting and well rounded individuals.

To give all of these team members the recognition they deserve, we will shortly be adding a Charities page to our website which will promote everyone’s efforts and hopefully become the focus for all of Mila’s charitable giving.

Of course, we'll be including updates on the website on my preparation for the GM Fundraising Challenge which will see the team cycle from Rome to Home in 2010 in aid of the Hope House Children’s Hospice.  I'll use it to appeal for sponsorship - and hopefully show that I'm a well rounded individual too!
