Mila has always made much of its ability to produce bespoke products for any customer – but what is perhaps less well known is that our in-house design team can even produce short runs of products for special events or customer promotions.

We demonstrated this technique a couple of years ago designing a bespoke lever for Keely Portway, one of the editors from the trade press.

Now, we have turned our attention to the forthcoming Royal Wedding and have designed a commemorative version of our ProStyle handle which is quite literally fit for a King.

The Solid Royal PAF (ProStyle Advanced Finish) will be available in a plated gold finish with a crown engraved into the backplate.  Prince William and Kate Middleton’s initials will be engraved into the lever and there will even be the option to have a sapphire in the style of Kate’s engagement ring fixed above the crown.

It might seem an extravagant option in difficult economic conditions but the luxury end of the market remains fairly buoyant and our research indicates that there is strong demand for Royal Wedding memorabilia.

The lever will be offered with strictly limited availability – adding to its exclusive cachet – and only from today, 1 April, up until the date of the wedding on the 29th April.
