EZ Egress Friction Stays combine emergency exit requirements with an easy-clean facility for side hung casement windows.

- 85° - 89° opening for emergency egress
- Allows casement windows (dependent upon size) to satisfy the egress requirements of Document B of the Building Regulations, ie:
“ For emergency egress any window should have an unobstructed openable area that is at least 0.33m square and at least 450mm high and 450mm wide ”
- Option of easy clean facility
- Easy clean position meets requirements of BS 8213 (minimum 95mm gap berween casement and frame)
- Recommended maximum sash weight - 21 kg
- Side hung application sizes available: 12” or 16”
- Available in 13mm or 17mm stack height
- Successfully tested to 50, 000 cycles
- Achieves 96 hours salt spray test
